Participation
Members of Las Amigas participate through meeting attendance, participation in events, and assisting with and contributing to our annual fundraiser to support OIC. We support one another in all our endeavors and work as a team with each member bringing their unique perspectives and skill sets. |
Los Amigos -- An organization for our children
Participation
Sons and daughters of Las Amigas are invited to join Los Amigos. Los Amigos attend regular meetings, volunteer hours (on the OIC campus and in the community), and participate in fund raising activities. Meetings focus on developing skill sets with time for socializing and fun. Members also participate on committee(s) to assist with our annual fundraiser. Volunteer hours can be completed in a variety of ways from volunteering on site at OIC to participating in OIC orchestrated events and local community outreach. Benefits
Los Amigos provides the children of Las Amigas members with character building opportunities by volunteering at OIC, connecting to the real world through community activities, and learning to work as a team on philanthropic projects. Real world experience to develop kind, caring individuals. Giving back helps shape the minds and hearts of young adults and in turn helps shape our future.
